About Me

Since receiving my first gaming console on my second birthday, I have been deeply passionate about video games. I love playing, discussing, learning about, and especially creating games. With my interest in programming and entertaining others, combined with my creative flair and 20 years of experience with games, I believe that game development is the perfect field for me. I am constantly seeking new opportunities to grow and challenge myself as a game developer.

I specialize in Unity game development, having first started using the platform in 2017. After several years of learning and working on personal projects, I released my first solo-developed mobile Unity game in 2020. The following year, I was hired as a Unity developer at a small game development studio, where I contributed to the design and development of three mobile games for Android and iOS. Unity is my go-to tool for creating immersive and engaging games.

In addition to creating games, I have a passion for developing tools that streamline the game development process. I have created a simple animation system that allows our designers to easily create, modify, chain, and sync UI animations without needing to write any code. This has been a valuable asset to our team and has helped us to create more dynamic and engaging games.

As a member of a small game development team with only two programmers, I have had the opportunity to take on a variety of tasks outside of my main expertise in Unity development. This has included setting up Microsoft's backend platform PlayFab, writing Cloud Scripts for it, creating a website for one of our games, and even modeling basic 3D models in Blender. These experiences have allowed me to broaden my skill set and adapt to new challenges in the field of game development.

I have used C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, TypeScript in a professional capacity and during my education I encountered and used : C, C++, Python, Java, Git/GitHub, Blender, Photoshop and Illustrator.
